A: No. We do not accept resumes for two reasons. Resumes rarely contain the complete information we seek from applicants. Secondly, applicants willing to take the time to complete our application are much more sincere in their interest to work for our company.

Q: How do I get started in floral designing?

A: Being a professional floral designer is a career that requires artistic aptitude, botanical knowledge, and an eye for style. Because our customers require professional design services, we are unable to hire somone for a designer position that lacks experience and/or skills. Someone who is serious about becoming a professional floral designer should strongly consider taking courses such as those offered by IUPUI. These courses provide an important foundation in beginning your career. Another option is to apply for an entry level position such as delivery driver, where you will have an opportunity to learn about the business. Lastly, consider volunteering as an unpaid intern. You can receive valuable training that even classes cannot equal.
